Sorry to see that you had a bad experience with ThinkFree.

Can I ask what the trouble was? I am not sure I follow you when you say it wouldn't let you out again.

Maybe this is something I can bring up with our developers.

thanks,
Jonathan

You pose some great questions about Second Life. I, for one probably could not answer most of them without a little research. One thing I find quite frustrating about Second Life is the connectivity. On more than one occasion, I have spent a long time trying to connect unsuccessfully. I find that the program constantly requires upgrades. On a positive note, it is quite fascinating once I cross the connection path.

Hi
This is a nice minimalist blog! Very clean design. I think blogs could be used in libraries for book clubs to discuss reads and to engage teens in various ways maybe to discuss cultural and political issues.

I was reading about the new Microsoft School in The School District of Philadelphia. Wouldn't you have thought that this would be the perfect forum to try to expand on the idea of the Masters system? Teachers could use pre-recorded internet classes that each student could view on their laptop and then the teachers could actually act as tutors for any student having questions or problems. The viewings would have to be staggered I think in order for each skill level to get the individualized help that they need but I think it would be logistically possible.
